"Water temp was just right when it got here"
My order arrived with the water still at a really good temperature—not cold and not overheated. The fish looked fine right away, which was a relief. I blame myself for stressing so much about the shipping, because they packed everything really well

"Why was the delivery schedule so complicated?"
I picked a delivery day and planned my whole schedule around being home, then it suddenly got moved with barely any notice. I was like, why is this so complicated? I had to rearrange my day and still didn’t really know when it was actually showing up. Super frustrating experience, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering livestock from here again

"Stock info seemed accurate"
I’m always a little unsure with fish sites because the stock info can be hit or miss, but this was accurate. Most of what I ordered was actually available, and I think there was only one item that had to be swapped. Maybe I just got lucky, but it was better than a lot of other places I’ve tried.

I had an issue with my order and customer service got back to me quickly. They were helpful and got it sorted, though it did take an extra day. whoever runs this could probably make the order process a little smoother, but overall it ended up fine.

I’ve ordered from Blue Zoo Aquatics a few times now, and the prices seem fair compared to a lot of other aquarium sites I looked at. Shipping wasn’t ridiculous either, which is a big deal with this kind of stuff. Everything was laid out clearly, and I didn’t get that feeling like they were marking things up just because hobby people will pay it. Maybe they keep costs down better than some other shops, but who knows. Either way, I’d order from them again.

"Pretty accurate, but one coral felt suspicious"
The species IDs were mostly spot on, so I can’t complain too much. But there was one coral name that just didn’t sit right with me. Maybe it was a simple mix-up, or maybe the coral identification world has deeper secrets than they want us to know. Either way, good overall.

"Had what I needed in stock"
I looked around at a few aquarium sites, and Blue Zoo Aquatics was the one that actually had what I needed available. Other places were kind of like... anyway, it was nice not having to wait or wonder if the items were really in stock. The site was easy to use too. Overall, I’m happy with it and would definitely check them again next time.

"Good first impression, but the promos can be tricky"
My first impression of Blue Zoo Aquatics was solid, mostly because I landed on a few sale items that actually seemed like good deals. I’ve ordered from them a couple times now, usually when they’re running some kind of discount, and the pricing can be decent if you catch the right stuff.

Where it gets a little frustrating is with the promo codes. More than once, I thought I was getting a discount, then got to checkout and realized it didn’t apply to what I was buying or there was some restriction I missed.

Shipping was fine and the orders went smoothly enough, so I wouldn’t say I had a bad experience. I just wish the promotions were more straightforward, because after that first good impression, the fine print made it feel a bit more average overall.

I ordered a fish that was listed as healthy, but in my case it arrived looking stressed, and by the next day I was already seeing spots. Maybe that was from shipping, maybe not, I can’t say for sure.
What bothered me most was that I just didn’t feel very reassured about their quarantine process. Customer service was fine enough, but I still felt like I was left guessing. For a fish this expensive, I personally expected a lot more confidence and clarity.

"Refund was handled without a hassle"
I had an issue with my order and needed a refund, and I was expecting the usual headache. I sent them an email, explained what happened, and they got back to me quickly with a clear answer.

The refund showed up on my card a few days later, which is really all you can ask for. No pointless back and forth, no weird excuses, just a normal common-sense fix. It definitely made me feel okay about ordering from them again

"Pretty average recent order"
I just ordered some dry goods from Blue Zoo Aquatics, and it was just okay. The items worked fine and the packaging was mostly decent, but one of the boxes showed up a little beat up. Shipping also took longer than I was hoping, so since that’s what’s freshest in my mind, it kind of makes the whole experience feel more average than good. Not a terrible order by any means, but based on this recent one, I’d say there’s room for improvement

The site was kind of hard to deal with. Pages loaded slowly, and the checkout process felt more confusing than it needed to be. I also didn’t love how pushy the reminders were, felt like I kept getting nudged way too aggressively while I was just trying to finish my order

The fish arrived dead, which was REALLY disappointing. The refund did come through, but it was slower than I expected. Overall, they handled it okay, just not as quickly as I’d hoped.

"Decent site, but the shipping made me pause"
I ordered a few things from Blue Zoo Aquatics recently, mostly because I was already working on my tank and didn’t feel like driving around to a bunch of local stores to see what was in stock. The order itself was totally fine — everything showed up as expected and I didn’t have any problems with the items or the process. The only thing that stood out to me was the shipping cost. It felt a little high for what I bought, and by the time it was added to the total, it was more than I was planning on spending. I’d probably still order from them again if I really needed something specific, but the shipping definitely makes me stop and think before checking out.

"Great selection, though a few things were sold out"
I was impressed with the variety on Blue Zoo. They’ve got a nice mix of fish, corals, and supplies, and I actually came across a few things I don’t usually see on other sites, which was a fun surprise. A couple of items I wanted were out of stock, which is always a little frustrating, but the selection overall was still really solid.
